Fleeing Club Champlain for the greener grass of the WNHL, Hutchinson entered the league during the league’s six pack expansion.  Impressing in the prospects games in his rookie year led to a third round pick.  He rewarded his GM’s faith with an impressive 17 goal rookie season.  Balancing being a high level player and trying to not be a try hard dick is a struggle many of the Club Champlain players struggle with and Captain Fauxhawk is no exception.  Reports of him taking 8 to 10 minute shifts surfaced in his rookie year, and when asked about it, Fauxhawk played down that accusations by claiming he’s new in the league and  didn’t know where his team’s bench was.
