Plenty of WNHL Updates as we step into our 2^nd to last Wednesday of a great season.

Registration for the WNHL March Break Mayhem at Welland Youth Arena on Wednesday March 18^th at 830pm is now open. Pregame at the Rex Hotel. Two step registration process; 1. Register with the link in the WNHL Chat 2. Send me $25 for hockey or $30 for hockey and two beers. • Thursday March 12^th is the last day for returning WNHL Spring Fling Players to confirm their spot before we open registration to the entire league. Games are a variety of 8pm/9pm/10pm with two 7pm’s mixed it. During April and May we are at a variety of rinks in Niagara to make way for tryouts. Send $270 to Kelly_jones_ca@yahoo.com Any available spots will be opened up to this chat on Saturday.

• Want to thank Kyle and Boggio Family of Pharmacies for donating $1000 to the WNHL Championship to benefit the Positive Living Niagara to be our title sponsor. We are low on raffle prizes for our table and it would be great to get some donations. Message me directly if you have something to give.

• WNHL Championship Kids Shootout – Message if your child wants to be involved this year. Shootout will be at 745pm right before the flood for the King Street Cup Game.

6pm – Rex Hotel Pizza Cup (Followed by the Centre Ice Shootout)

7pm – MT Bellies Burger Bowl (Followed by the Kids Shootout)

930pm – WNHL Afterparty at the Rex Hotel

10pm – WNHL Award Show

We are set for another great playoffs for the WNHL – Here are some reminders as we do our annual march to the King Street Cup.

• Respect for your fellow players and Refs – We only play for a Hat and a touch of glory
• Be sure to leave the changeroom at 1140pm in Welland and 1150pm in Port.
• We are off March 18th 2026 for March Break – Keep an eye out for a WNHL Mayhem Tournament that evening for those who are not on vacation that week.
• You will play each team once for the first 7 weeks and week 8 of the play-offs it is a “Pick Your Poison” selection.

• There will be hats, not only will you get the King Street Cup, the champagne, the glory, Jackfish Game Feature, you will now get Hats for this year’s champs. Designed none other – Pete the Heat Voynovich.
• Tiebreaker is Points, Wins, Playoff Head-to-Head, Goal Differential
• The WNHL Championship will be on March 28^th 2026 at the Welland Main Arena starting with a family skate at 4pm. Than the Toilet Bowl Game, The Pizza Bowl Game and Burger Bowl Game and the Championship Game.
• We are looking for door and raffle prizes to raise money for Positive Living Niagara at the WNHL Championship. It would be great to raise $2000 at the WNHL Championship to bring our yearly charity total to $15,000! Which would be a WNHL Record and I will safely say a Canadian Beer League Record!
• WNHL Fantasy – We will announce the winner on February 4^th and the winner will a cool $220 bucks and $220 for The Hope Centre

The WNHL never stops, even during the Holidays we find a way to The Rex Hotel and the rink for a chance to make some teams and play the Mayhem. Congrats to the Little Nashville Predators for winning the Holiday Mayhem Tournament and winning the SS Brand It WNHL Toques. This tournament offers all the chaos and fun a one night tournament can handle…..Be sure to sign-up for the March Break Mayhem coming up in 2026!
