Due smaller registration we are going 3on3 this WNHL Mayhem. Champs get a King Can of Beer!

• All games are 10 minutes – Run Time
• 10 Player Per Team (plus a goalie)
• There are no icings, no offsides.
• Penalties are 2 minutes run time.
• When the goalie covers the puck, the ref will blow the whistles all offensive players will need to tag the blue line to enter the zone.
• Face-offs at the start of games and at the start of penalties only. Penalty faceoffs will be in the offensive zone.
• Wins are worth 3 points, Ties 1 point, Tiebreakers are Head-to-Head, Goals For, third and goal against.
• Teams can pull the goalie whenever they see fit to break a tie to earn the 3 points.
• No timeouts.
• After the round robin the top team will get a bye to the championship and teams 2^nd and 3^rd will play an elimination game
• If the Elimination Game or Championship Game is tied after 12 minutes. There will be a 4 minute 3-3 OT and then an NHL Style Shootout to claim the winner of the WNHL Mayhem 3 on 3 tournament.

Plenty of WNHL Updates as we step into our 2^nd to last Wednesday of a great season.

Registration for the WNHL March Break Mayhem at Welland Youth Arena on Wednesday March 18^th at 830pm is now open. Pregame at the Rex Hotel. Two step registration process; 1. Register with the link in the WNHL Chat 2. Send me $25 for hockey or $30 for hockey and two beers. • Thursday March 12^th is the last day for returning WNHL Spring Fling Players to confirm their spot before we open registration to the entire league. Games are a variety of 8pm/9pm/10pm with two 7pm’s mixed it. During April and May we are at a variety of rinks in Niagara to make way for tryouts. We are set for another great playoffs for the WNHL – Here are some reminders as we do our annual march to the King Street Cup.

• Respect for your fellow players and Refs – We only play for a Hat and a touch of glory
• Be sure to leave the changeroom at 1140pm in Welland and 1150pm in Port.
• We are off March 18th 2026 for March Break – Keep an eye out for a WNHL Mayhem Tournament that evening for those who are not on vacation that week.
• You will play each team once for the first 7 weeks and week 8 of the play-offs it is a “Pick Your Poison” selection.

• Tiebreaker is Points, Wins, Playoff Head-to-Head, Goal Differential
• The WNHL Championship will be on March 28^th 2026 at the Welland Main Arena starting with a family skate at 4pm. Than the Toilet Bowl Game, The Pizza Bowl Game and Burger Bowl Game and the Championship Game.
• We are looking for door and raffle prizes to raise money for Positive Living Niagara at the WNHL Championship. It would be great to raise $2000 at the WNHL Championship to bring our yearly charity total to $15,000! Which would be a WNHL Record and I will safely say a Canadian Beer League Record!
• WNHL Fantasy – We will announce the winner on February 4^th and the winner will a cool $220 bucks and $220 for The Hope Centre
